Lumitec extends warranty of all products to five years

Effective immediately, Lumitec is extending its standard product warranty from three years to five years across its entire product line.
The five-year warranty will be retroactive to 1 January 2025, for retail customers. It will apply to the 2025 boat model year for manufacturers.
The company says that the warranty underscores its commitment to delivering the highest-quality marine lighting solutions, while ensuring customers receive the best possible service and support.
“Expanding our warranty to five years is not just a policy change — it’s a reflection of our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction,” says Chris Fulmer, president of Lumitec. “We stand behind every product we build, and we want our customers to have complete peace of mind when they choose Lumitec, knowing they are investing in marine products built to last. ”
Lumitec believes that extending the warranty reaffirms its confidence in the durability, performance, and reliability of its products.
During Metstrade 2024, Lumitec launched Poco 4, the latest upgrade to its digital lighting control system, aimed at enhancing user control and customisation of PLI-enabled Lumitec lights. The Poco 4 system, designed for ease of installation, enables complete lighting management through a compatible Multi-Function Display (MFD) or connected smart device. Key features of Poco 4 include Intelligent Sound-to-Light technology, NMEA 2000 compatibility and CAN bus integration, allowing vessel manufacturers to incorporate lighting controls into their own interfaces.
Early last year, Lumitec expanded its international reach to Australia and exhibited for the first time at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. There it showcased its comprehensive lighting solutions, designed to illuminate any vessel ‘Bow to Stern’ (see main image). Details of the company’s underwater lights can be found on its website.
In 2022, Lumitec launched a Fiji Courtesy Light, a full-colour, two-wire courtesy light designed to be used in conjunction with a Lumitec Poco module (sold separately) to provide unlimited colour options via a compatible multi-function display (MFD) or connected smart device.
