Aquila Power Catamarans names EMEA regional sales director

Aquila Power Catamarans is appointing Sergio Loiacono as its regional sales director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to support the company’s growing dealer network and strengthen its presence across the region.

Loiacono has more than 20 years of experience in the marine industry, most recently undertaking the role of sales director for Privilege Catamarans, a brand of luxury catamarans manufactured in France.

After graduating from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Loiacono spent several years in Asia where he captained yachts and held a senior yacht broker position with Simpson Marine. Moving back to Europe in 2019, Loiacono has consulted across the nautical sector. Loiacono is based in France near the Swiss border just outside of Geneva.

My focus will be on strengthening our dealer network and ensuring Aquila’s innovative designs reach discerning buyers throughout the region.”
