The Global Women’s Walk 2025 will take place from 11-18 May, coinciding with International Women in Maritime Day.

Organised by the Soundings Trade Only Group, Marine Industry News, Metstrade and British Marine, the event invites participants to walk 5km (3.2 miles) in any location. The initiative, which is open to all genders, aims to recognise the contributions of women in the marine sector.

The event will raise awareness beyond the marine industry by supporting Room to Read, a global nonprofit focused on literacy and gender equality in education.
