Elite Yacht Covers establishes new base on UK south coast
Elite Yacht Covers now occupies a 618-sq-ft unit at Hamble Point Marina
MDL Marinas reports that Elite Yacht Covers has signed a five-year lease at Hamble Point Marina in Southampton, on the UK’s south coast, with operations due to begin this month (April 2026).
The agreement sets up a south coast base for the yacht canvas company within a marina known for its concentration of marine services, and marks a significant expansion for the firm.
Elite Yacht Covers will occupy a 618-sq-ft unit at the marina and will share office space with White Dot Sailing.
“The fact that there is currently no other specialist cover maker on-site, combined with the variety of marine services already available at the marina, made Hamble Point the ideal location for our expansion,” says Noah di Paola, South Coast manager at Elite Yacht Covers, which designs custom covers for a range of vessel types. “Through this new location, we will also be looking to support superyachts entering Ocean Village with our subsidiary, Elite Super Yacht Covers.”

Marina manager Dominic Brown adds: “We’re thrilled to have Elite Yacht Covers joining us at Hamble Point. Their reputation for craftsmanship and customer service aligns perfectly with MDL’s focus on delivering exceptional marine experiences. The team will be a valuable addition to the diverse cluster of specialists already operating at the marina.”
Hamble Point Marina sits at the mouth of the River Hamble and is known for its concentration of marine businesses. The site offers access to both leisure and commercial marine clients. In late 2025, the marina opened a redesigned marina office as part of broader improvements, following the completion of upgraded customer facilities earlier in the year.
